Jamie Carragher has hailed the skills of Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice. After his team beat Manchester City 5-1 at home in the Premier League on Sunday.
The England midfielder provided two assists in the game as his team secured a comfortable win. With Carragher praising Rice’s all-round ability and pointing out. ทางเข้า UFABET That people tend to focus on the numbers rather than the overall performance.

“I sometimes feel like I’m a big Declan Rice fan because I don’t always understand. When people criticise him and ask him to score more goals and assist more,” Carragher told Sky Sports.
“I know in the last 10-15 years we looked at the numbers and analysed things (differently). But I always think of now Thierry (Henry) playing with Patrick Vieira and Emmanuel Petit in midfield.
“They were the two best midfielders in the world at the time and the two best we’ve ever seen in the Premier League. And I don’t remember anyone talking about how many goals or assists they had.”
“They’re scoring five or six goals a season together and Declan Rice is. For me, one of the best all-round midfielders – a bit like Roy Keane. He says he plays as a number eight and a bit taller but he’s almost a retro central midfielder in a 4-4-2 and can do everything.”
“I think he’s a great player. His passing is very underrated. You can see it in the pass for the fifth goal. But the build-up, the ball retention, the power, everything about him, the early pressure, he’s a really good midfielder.”
