England were in poor form, beating underdogs Andorra 1-0 with a second-half winner from Harry Kane in World Cup qualifiers football.

The ball bounced to the left, Noni Madueke collected it and crossed it to the middle for Kane to dive and shoot from close range into the net.

In the 73rd minute, England almost extended their lead. When Bellingham crossed from the right wing to the front of the goal for Ebereshi Eze to dive and head the ball alone. The ball was about to go under the crossbar. But Alvarez still managed to reach out with one hand to make a superb save and push it behind.

The Three Lions had almost all of the possession for the rest of the game, but were unable to add anything. The game ended with England defeating Andorra 1-0, a result that was not very impressive considering the level of play between the two nations.

This victory gives England 9 points from 3 matches in Group K.
